Hurrah! Hurrah! H-U-R-R-A-H! [Sep. 7th, 2006|03:58 pm]

Good news. Today, I have no reason to bitch about anything. Like, at all. Today was TOTALLY AWESOME.

Let's see....okay!

First of all, we figured out we haev the choice between doing the Jamestown DAR* or a report on a state**. I chose Minnesota, and why am I so happy about this? We can be creative, as in our report can be done in a scrap book! SQUEEEEEEEEEEE....zer.

Second, in P.E. we played Steal the Bacon. B'grl* teams. So there's two hulahoops on each team's side (the gym is divided in half by a line. =D) and each has about 5 rubber monkeys/gators/fish in it. Say your on A team. A team tries to still B team's rubber animals and thow them in their own hoops, and whoever gets all the animals on their side first wins. Say A team member runs to B team's side to get an animal. If someone from B team tags them, they go to jail, which is a space behind the actual gym court. To get out of jail, someone else from A team has to run to B team's side and grab the jail person's hand without getting tagged. (You can only get tagged on the other person's side.) If they get tagged, they are also in jail. But say A team grabs an animal but gets tagged going back to their side, they have to put the animal back and go to jail. If they get the animal to their side, it's just theirs.

So after that nice explanation, here's what made me happy!
First of all, I saved like 10 people from jail, man. Which is good, because I'm pretty bad at that game. SECOND OF ALLLLLLLLLL~ I actually got an animal! <3 Squee.

And lastly,
We got our edline accounts up so I can now see my grades and my homework assignments, and work ahead. =3

*= The Jamestown essay gives you 15 extra credit points, and if you win one of the best essays, you win some money, but not much, and it's between the whole county.

**= The state report has some downsides before the scrapbook, first we have to write 100 notecards with notes on them, a bibliography, and an outline, but it shouldn't be very hard since I'm a fast typer, and once you're done with the notecards, it's all easier because everything you need is right there.

In elementary school, we did a game like that for PE =D. It's just that, you have to get a cone from the other side instead, and if you get tagged, you are in the jail or the hula-hoop. And, like the game you played, your team member has to bring the jail person back without being tagged. When we did, we were allowed to do chains to get to the other side =D.

BTW, you know what's so ironic? The Sami and Skyler I know is different from the Sami and Skyler you know O_o. And also, the Sami I know said she knew someone named Andrea, but not an Andrea in 7th =o.
